At the core of every strong community are people who genuinely care. The May Court Club KW is driven by a desire to make a difference, especially for women and children in the Region. They invite others to join them in creating a resilient community where compassion fuels lasting change. Through their community outreach, the Club raises meaningful donations for many organizations and individuals in the area. Their established initiatives provide education, care, and food directly to those most in need of support. They also operate a consignment shop in Belmont Village, where 100% of proceeds go to charity, a wonderful way for the community to shop with purpose and support local causes.

ports in four key areas: addiction treatment, food security, housing, and neighbourhood programs. Their work reaches people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives and does so with compassion and dignity. By adapting their Christmas Food Program and offering support through the Emergency Food Hamper program in Kitchener with no registration required, they are removing barriers and responding to real needs on the ground. I’m grateful to the dedicated volunteers who make this work possible, and to the KC Rotary for their annual Rotary Turkey Drive, which helps ensure families across Waterloo Region are supported. Honoured to join the ceremonial lighting of the eighth and final night of the menorah. In standing with the Jewish community, may we carry forward the light of resilience, faith, and hope, and may we find strength, peace, and humanity in one another.
