Conservatives have put forward real solutions to lower hidden food taxes and ease the burden on families. Yet this week, Parliament voted them down. Canadians in Kitchener Centre are paying more at the checkout while relief is delayed by political inaction. Why block progress when the path forward is clear?

Mr. Speaker, just yesterday the Liberals voted against our motion to lower hidden food taxes on Canadians. They voted to keep taxing food with their industrial carbon tax on fertilizer and farm equipment and inflation tax from increasing money spending. These Liberal policies mean families are paying more at the grocery store. Pork is up 37.2% just in March alone. When will the Liberal government finally stop their hidden grocery taxes and provide real relief to Canadians?
