Hi Kitchener, here's a quick recap of the week. This week I had five great meetings with local non-for-profits to discuss the incredible work they're doing in our community and the important role that their organizations play in supporting people's everyday life. I also met with stakeholders to talk about drug recovery and rehabilitation, as well as other priorities impacting our region and ways we can work together to find practical solutions. I wrapped up the week by meeting with constituents to hear their ideas, answer questions, and better understand the issues that matter most to them. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta today to tour the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute and learn more about the cutting-edge AI research happening here, the innovation it's driving, and what it means for Canada's future. Thank you for following along and have a fabulous weekend.

We have to put victims first. It is not acceptable for a high-risk sex offender to be released, only to be re-arrested less than an hour later. We need a justice system that protects victims, keeps dangerous offenders off the streets, and puts public safety first.
