🎉 Hmong Canada Day – Celebrating 50 Years in Canada 🇨🇦
It was an honour to join the Hmong community at the Breslau Community Centre for a beautiful day of remembrance, food, music, and family — marking nearly 50 years of Hmong presence in Canada.
The Hmong people, with ancestral roots in Laos, Thailand, and other parts of Southeast Asia, have built vibrant communities across the country. This event was a powerful celebration of heritage, resilience, and cultural pride.
Special thanks to Lao Chai Vang, President of the Hmong Association of Canada, for leading this first-of-its-kind gathering in Waterloo Region.
