Recently, I was on CBC-KW with Craig Norris and I got the chance to talk about U.S. President Donald Trump and how his actions have affected Kitchener Centre.
Because Canadians have not gotten the trade deal with the U.S. that they were promised, the auto workers in Kitchener are feeling it. Canada used to be the leader in EV technological innovation and Canada makes the best cars. Unfortunately, this government instead made a deal with China that floods Canadian markets with China made EVs.
I believe in Canada’s auto sector and I believe that Canada makes the best cars and for the sake of our auto workers, I hope this government does too.
