Grateful for the opportunity to ride along with Sergeant Bill Hand. We had meaningful conversations about the challenges our officers face on the front lines, especially around mental health and addictions. Their work is critical, and we need to do everything we can to support them. One way to ease the pressure is by focusing on effective, abstinence-based rehabilitation programs that help individuals turn their lives around and reduce repeat crises. Thank you to Sergeant Hand and the entire Waterloo Regional Police Service for your dedication to keeping our communities safe.

Thank-you for the work you do. 📸: wcswr.org
