By integrating public health principles into our justice system, we can reduce recidivism, enhance community safety, and break the cycle of harm. Bill C-240 will also strengthen our response to large-scale fentanyl trafficking, drawing a clear line between those who need support to rebuild their lives and those who profit from destruction.
