steadfast in proposing common sense solutions to the issues facing Canadians - like affordability, crime and housing. I will always advocate for how Kitchener Centre can play a role in the solutions we propose, ensuring we have a seat at the table.

this project is remarkable, and I can’t wait to see these homes take root in our community as they break ground on their first property here. It’s truly exciting to be a part of this future-forward moment. #kitchener #community #affordablehousing

already provided meaningful results, and we’re always here to serve every resident of Kitchener Centre. So far, we’ve delivered huge wins including more than $55,000 in CRA adjustments for people, some on files that had been stalled for years. We’re making a real impact in people’s lives, and we want to hear from you. #kitchener #community

together over a warm meal. Over the past five years, Tiny Home Takeout has prepared more than 695,000 meals, reaching approximately 350,000 people, all made possible by an amazing network of over 200 volunteers. Spending time with the volunteers, staff, and supporters reminded me just how special this place is. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who makes this work possible and proud to have an organization like Tiny Home Takeout right here in our community.

t housing partners. Together, we’re tackling the affordability crisis head‑on by creating a community where deeply affordable, affordable, and for‑sale units are all built side by side. We also met with Mayor @berryonline to discuss the impressive work the City of Kitchener is doing to accelerate homebuilding, from streamlining approvals to reducing development charges, ensuring that more homes get built, faster, right here in our community. @scottaitchison left genuinely impressed by the progress we’re making in Kitchener, and he’s committed to championing strong, practical solutions to get more homes built across the country. #kitchener #affordable #housing

he future of the medical technology industry. We had a candid conversation about the troubling trend of entrepreneurs who often grow just big enough to be bought by a foreign company. But real success, the kind that keeps innovation truly Canadian, takes resilience, conviction and determination. This is not the path forward for Canadian innovation. We need a sovereign approach where the government’s role is clear, create the environment for these companies to monetize and scale here in Canada, not elsewhere. #kitchener #innovation #tech #medtech

rnment needs to get out of the way so they can scale locally. We must create an environment that is less risk-averse and allows SMEs to grow right here at home. XL Tool is doing the work, now we need to support them and remove barriers.

Unfortunately, I was a few minutes too late to actually participate in the Voices Empower Walk, as I was delayed coming from another event, but I am incredibly proud of the work they do and will always stand with them in any way they need. Thank-you for the work you do. 📸: wcswr.org

nonite Central Committee - MCC ON and their leadership in our community, quietly powerful, consistently generous, and always focused on lifting others up. Their vision and values ripple through so many local initiatives. And if you haven’t visited MCC Thrift On Kent, you’re missing out! It’s more than a store, it’s a hub of sustainability, community connection, and purpose. Together, we chatted about how we can collaborate to make volunteering more accessible and impactful. The energy and ideas flowing between these organizations are a reminder of what’s possible when we work together.

real options. Frontline Recovery steps in with a proactive, boots-on-the-ground approach, meeting people in encampments, shelters, food banks, and on the streets to provide outreach, recovery navigation, and connections to shelter and treatment through trusted partners. Though recently established, Frontline Recovery has already helped individuals access treatment and support through its Help Line, social media outreach, and in-person engagement. Building on the success of their Winter Clothing Drive, they are expanding initiatives and coordinating new outreach efforts to support our KW community. s voluntary, free initiative focuses on counselling and support, helping men understand the roots of their abusive behaviour and choose a new path forward. As Det. Const. Andrea Gilker of the Waterloo Regional Police Service said, “When we help them, we help their partners. It’s good for everybody.” This is the kind of community-based innovation that truly makes a difference. At the federal level, Conservatives are also taking action to end domestic violence. My colleague Frank Caputo, MP for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo, has introduced a new private member’s bill C-225 that passed second reading. The bill would classify the murder of an intimate partner as first-degree murder in all cases, create a new offence for assaulting an intimate partner, and Allow judges to order risk assessments for individuals charged with intimate partner violence while on release. These efforts, local and national, are working toward the same goal: breaking the cycle of domestic violence. Solutions together will make a difference

ed were raw and real, highlighting the gaps in our systems that too often fail to support people in rebuilding their lives. This wasn’t about enabling, it was about accountability, healing, and ensuring that rehabilitation is more than a word. It’s about action, outcomes, and support that truly helps people move forward. I’m committed to carrying these conversations into my work in Parliament. We need policies that prioritize effective rehabilitation, protect communities, and give people the tools they need to change their lives for the better. Thank you to Mayor Liggett and all the courageous voices who made this conference so impactful. Your leadership is helping drive the change we need.

eeps people trapped in addiction and focus on abstinence based rehabilitation; take the billions we are spending to manage misery and invest them instead in 50,000 real treatment beds, medical detox, and recovery housing; and sue the drug companies that flooded our country with poison to help pay for it. There is hope for a better quality of life in abstinence based rehabilitation.

g paraphernalia were confiscated. This kind of enforcement saves lives and protects our community. The drug crisis must end. Canadian public health and our community’s safety depend on strong action against drug trafficking and organized crime. Now, the justice system must ensure that those charged are held appropriately accountable. #jailnotbail
